A gentle non-abrasive hydroxy acid exfoliation treatment that thoroughly removes dulling surface debris, dramatically improving skin texture - containing salicylic acid and standardised extraction of five plant species: Bilberry (vaccinum myrtillus), Sugar Cane (saccharum officinarum), Orange (Citrus aurantium dulcis), Lemon (citrus limon), and Sugar Maple (acer saccharum). When combined, these botanical extracts deliver five natural AHAs to the skin: Lactic Acid (from bilberry), Glycolic Acid (from sugar cane), Citric Acid (from orange and lemon), and Malic and Tartaric Acids (from sugar maple). These AHAs are commonly used to treat skin conditions such as rough skin, surface wrinkles and fine lines.
Recognised for having exfoliating properties, AHAs leave the skin with a smooth and radiant appearance. Lactic acid is an excellent moisturising ingredient and beneficial for most hyper-proliferate skin conditions.
One of the key benefits for using lactic acid in ageing applications is that research has also shown it to be capable of reversing cutaneous atrophy. This will help thicken the skin to create a more youthful aesthetic. This product contains AHA that may increase the skins sensitivity to the sun and possibility of sunburn.
Advise clients to limit exposure to the sun for one week after the treatment.
Skin tingling, mild itching and some temporary skin redness are normal reactions to highly active exfoliants.
Use of this product by untrained, unlicensed persons may result in extreme skin irritation, skin lifting or injury.
Do not use in conjunction with any other exfoliating treatment.
Application:
Apply a thin layer of AHA/BHA booster to the face, throat, and décolletage using a brush to evenly distribute over the skin. Avoid the eyes, nasal folds and lip area.
