Having just launched the new range I thought it would be useful to list the benefits of the native Australian ingredients used in our products.
I hope you find this information interesting. There are some useful links on our links page for those of you who are interested in learning more about the native plants and flowers of Australia.

Extracts
Quandong
Quandong extract is high in vitamin C and essential fatty acids, which enrich and nourish the skin

Grass Lilly
Highly moisturising. Traditionally used to heal, cuts, burns and abrasions. Has the potential to soften scar tissue, heal blemishes, relieve itching and skin irritations through multiple cell division.

Kakadu plum
Highest source of vitamin C found in the world. With 50 times more ascorbic acid than citrus fruit. Vitamin C is one of the most important anti-oxidants for skin care and helps to prevent the breakdown of collagen

Lilly Pilly Extract
Posse’s good astringent properties, high in vitamin C, anti-oxidants and fruit acids which exfoliate the skin to reveal a fresh healthy glow.

Essential Oils
Lemon Myrtle
Lemon Myrtle is well known for its high vitamin C levels and its calming and uplifting properties. Lemon Myrtle is more anti-fungal and anti bacterial that tea tree and is extremely rich in citral, around 90-98% compared to the essential oil of lemon, which only contains 3-10% citral.

Rosalina Oil
The major constituent of Rosalina is linalool, known to be good antiseptic and anti-infectious oil. It is deeply relaxing and calming oil.

Sandalwood Oil
Used as effective anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial oil. Its wonderful properties have an anti-spasmodic effect on the muscles and can be used to relieve tension, stress, anxiety and insomnia. It also promotes skin elasticity and its soothing, anti-microbial action helps to strengthen and heal the skin.


Eucalyptus oil
Well known for its potent anti-bacterial action. It was favoured by Australia’s indigenous people to heal wounds, treat fungal infections and reduce fever. Topically it is a great antiseptic, plus it’s also the perfect tonic to revitalise and decongest sluggish skin

Blue Cypress Oil
Unique deep cobalt blue oil used widely in the perfume industry due to its unique woody and warm undertones. It is well known for its therapeutic properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti itching, hydrating, skin softening, skin cleansing, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and as a pain reliever.

Honey myrtle Oil
Has one of the highest citral content of the melaleucas. Has a light sweet citral scent with natural anti-septic and anti-bacterial qualities.
